Catching up...

Hi all- sorry it's been so long since the last post.

Tour, as you've seen above, was excellent. Just such a great experience for the band and for each of us individually.

Some other things going on -- the video for "Palladium" is done... keep an eye out for it...

Also, we're playing TONIGHT (Sat, 1 Dec) at the Windmill in Brixton. We should be hitting the stage at around 10:45, so do try and make it out!

quick one

internet has been tough to find, but the tour is going great!

just got offstage at the Fez in Reading. Two more nights (Bristol
then back to London), then the CD release party on Thursday 15 Nov.
It's gonna be sad when it's all over, but it's been a lot of fun so
far!

home for two nights, then back on the road to exeter...

one more stop tomorrow night (birmingham), then back home for a day of laundry, rehearsal, and sleep... then we're back out for the last leg of the tour.

last stop is london on the 13th, at dingwall's (camden lock) -- it's sold out, buuuuut, we just so happen to have a VERY special night planned two nights later

in scotland

in the dressing room at king tut's getting ready to sound check for
the glasgow show.

everything is going really well so far -- another graet night last
night in newcastle.

we sold out of CD last night -- we had to go back to the hotel and
spend the afternoon burning more cds.

should be a good one tonight... we were going to use our drums, but
the kick wasn't working out for P&tP, so we swapped back to theirs for
tonight.

alright, gotta roll.

one down, 11 to go

well, the first night was AWESOME.   haven't been able to get online until now, but the first show was so much fun.

all three bands played amazing sets, and the crowds got into every one.  we're in "fibbers" in york now, waiting to do our sound check.

pete and the pirates are getting their gear set up now... it's a very small room, reminds me of excuses in pittsburgh.   should be awesome once a big crowd gets in here and starts jumping around.

louisa (tour manager) took some awesome video of the band working on a new song in the van (complete with eizan and paul playing through the van's stereo system).

good times.

Getting ready to go on

we're in the dressing room, getting ready to go on for our first show on tour, our first real show out of london.

nerves are a bit frazzled, but i think we're ready for it.

will let you all know how it goes afterwards.

First blog

So, here we are. Leave for our first UK tour tomorrow morning.

Over the next 11 days, we'll be hitting the following cities:
Leeds
York

Newcastle

Glasgow

Manchester

Birmingham
Exeter

Southampton

Reading

Bristol

we then wrap it up on 13 Nov back in London, playing at Dingwall's (in the Camden Lock complex).

two days later, we're releasing the video for Palladium, with a big party at the Vibe Bar (Brick Lane). it's free, and the video is going to be AMAZING (that's a whole other blog entry).
